Highlights in Susan Anne Russell’s artistic career include: 2023 RED DOT Miami represented by Mecenavie Gallery in France, NY Art Expo 2023 Pairs- Carrousel du Louvre, 2022 Miami Spectrum, 2022 The Other Art Fair Chicago, 2021-Judge at Fair on the Square- Deerpath Gallery- Lake Forest, Judge- 2017- Festival of The Arts- Libertyville at Cook Mansion. January 2020, Susan Anne Russell’s paintings were exhibited at The Elmhurst Art Museum featuring the painting Sunset Over Clouds which later sold to a collector in California. In March 2020, Sacred Falls was featured on the poster for The Art and Soul Show in The Gallerie in Lake Forest. In 2019 Susan Anne Russell had a Solo Show: Ethereal Dreams at The North Shore Arts League. The 2018 Susan was granted a Solo Show at the Woodstock Opera House: Reaching for The Sublime. In 2018 she exhibited at The Marin MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art in Novato, California in an Altered Book show. In 2018 Susan's painting Spirit Messenger was the featured artist selected for the Artists on the Bluff Spirit Poster. 2012 Dreamscapes was the title of her Solo Show at the Adler Mansion. In 2016: Deer Path Gallery in Lake Forest- Deck the Walls show. Susan's work appeared at the Miami Spectrum 2015 show concurrent with the International Miami Art Basel show. Contemporary Art Projects in Miami was selected to host the Nepal Mural project. Susan was selected for the NY Biennale Art Show 2009, receiving international recognition and accepted in New York’s Agora Gallery located in the Chelsea District. From 2009-2011 she exhibited at Gallerie MK in the River North District and in 2008 at Robert Wayner’s Black Walnut Gallery located in the Fulton Market Gallery District. Aphrodite was selected and printed in the Chicago Reader’s Art section accompanying the Oxala Solo show. She is an author of a textbook on The Performing Arts which is found on the shelves of Oxford, Harvard and Yale. With a number of Solo Shows throughout her career, from Chicago to the North Shore, her work has sold to collectors Internationally and nationally throughout Chicago, California, Florida, and Italy.
